I just acquired this DC-1E NT and would appreciate some help accurately dating it.
Thanks so much!

Weren't you talking about an F-212 in the intro thread, SpaceCam?

That's a really nice DCE-1. The online record appears to be unavailable for yours, but it seems to be post-1993... I'm guessing 1994, but certainly not sure about that. Is there something stamped on the tail block (inside the guitar)? That would be from when the neck was built and body assembled if I recall correctly, but not necessarily when it was completed.

Thanks for that, Chazmo.
I appreciate the reply and I will see if I can get that info from the tail block - I'm putting new strings on her tomorrow so I will scope out the inside.
1994 was the closest date I could come to in my search also, although the guy I purchased it from said he once contacted someone from Guild years ago who dated it around '89-'90.
I was talking about a '70's F212 in my welcome thread, yes. That was my first ever Guild I found at an Estate sale a few years back.
I bought that and absolute mint condition 1980 Tobacco Burst Les Paul Customs and 1983 Ibanez Roadstar II Series' all on the same day!
It was a banner day! Here they are.....

Your F-212 looks great, SpaceCam!!! Beautiful, clean soundboard with a ton of silking and nice caramel coloring from age.

I'm not sure if it's dust, but have a close look at the front of your bridge and make sure it's not coming up or anything.

Best wishes.
