I've got a friend going to Portland Maine to look for guitars this weekend. Anyone know a Guild dealer there? thanks joan

Chazmo said:Bah... I just went through Cornish yesterday and hadn't written this information (from this thread) down yet. Well, I'll be going through there again next week to pick up the boys from camp.
Buckdancer's Choice is definitely going to get a Chazmo fly-by this week, as we're going up to Portland.
Not sure about Acoustic Outfitters though.
Thanks for the tips, guys/gals. -- Chaz
Glad you got to see it! I really love that store. I have to plan a trip up there sometime soon. If you were talking to the guy with the gray beard, that would be John, the owner.Chazmo said:Stig,
I made it there yesterday. Very cool place. Talked with the owner (I guess) for a little while as I had the family in tow.
Some really nice guitars in there. We talked Guilds for a little while. I guess he just sold a Tacoma D-55 last week.
He showed me a couple of Composite Acoustic axes that were really nice. I didn't expect to like their unplugged sound, but I did. Very cool.
Quite a selection of new Taylors, including a couple of R. Taylors that I played briefly.
Wish I'd had more time. My kids really enjoyed the "petting zoo" where they keep their huskies. Beautiful dogs; a little hot on such a warm day.
Thanks for the suggestion.
