Great isn't he? West, though I didn't play bluegrass I was invited to a jam in the early eighties from a festival organizer I knew and worked with. We arrived at a modest house and the place was smokin'. All the players there were incredible and I just sat there amazed. Hardly picked up my guitar. We didn't stay too long and when we got in the car my friend threw some names out of some of the people that were there. One person I remember being introduced to was Jerry Douglas. Heck, I really didn't know too much about bluegrass as Tony Rice could have been there and I wouldn't have recognized the name, but that Dobro player sure made an impression on me
