Totally different design approach for a flattop guitar.

Looks very stable, the Cassady bass not so much. About time somebody did something a little different with the guitar.

The first time a guitar teacher (female) talked to me about guitars she said that the shape of the guitar was designed to look like the hourglass shape of the female figure.

Nice sounding. Not my thing but nice.

Very bright. Very good overtone definition on the open bass strings.

Segovia once stated that the standard guitar shape replicated the female body form. He was not alone here. It is a commonly held belief. Perhaps, Leahy just adds a bit more detail.

Some women have pushed back against this belief, asking that if the guitar form is inspired by women why are so many guitars uncomfortable for women to play?

that is funny. My wife often remarked I love her madly cause she looks like a 000.

There are some more things about the guitar shape and female body - but since LTG is my favourite net site and I wish not be exterminated - I wont tell them.

But they're there - just go looking . . .
