Your G37 must be a whole lot better than the essentially identical 2000 D30 I used to own. My '69 D28 is probably the best rosewood dread I've ever played, and has the wear to show for it!

Beautiful guitar there. Crazy (to some) to think that it doesn’t stand up to the lowly Guild. The great news is that your Martin is likely worth a boatload. When the time is right you can sell it and buy yourself some top end Guilds and a nice steak dinner.
