I am really coming around to maple acoustic guitars. While many I have played were too bright and chimey for my tastes, others like my F50 SB and F412 are clear and loud, and provide a nice contrast to the darker, warmer tones rosewood guitars provide.
Recently, I acquired an F44, and now I have its dreadnought cousin the D64. Both are fantastic guitars. The D64 is everything the F44 is, and more. An absolute cannon. I acquired this one (#19) from our own Tristan (Treem), and it was also formerly owned by Richard (Richardp69), who had Tom (Fixit) address the condition issues it had at the time.
The only issue that needed to be addressed was repairing the small cracks on the bridge, which I had repaired. See before and after pics below.
