For now they are. Who knows, Guild will think they could sell a lot more of them on a larger scale. Then they'd be available everywhere. We'll have to watch and see how quickly the next batch sells out.
The red s200 was a Sam Ash exclusive. I’d imagine if Guild is making exclusives then there’s contracts involved.

Looks like Pacific Blue is no longer available and page is up only for reference now. Can't even pre-order. Burst still up and pre-orderable.
So if you wanted blue, be glad you got it when you did. Instant collectable!! I can see all the Reverb adds now (RARE!! 1 of 25!!!). :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I wonder what happened? I don't think they even had 25 of them in stock!

Maybe people wanted that light blue that showed up on the search page and were disappointed when they clicked and saw it was really dark blue and complained.
Sweetwater told me more coming in mid January, so maybe just a webpage reset until they clarify what the blue tone will actually be for the next batch.

I wanna get a light blue for me and the wife. That shorter scale length will be easier on her hands than the strat.

I finally got the soft spring installed and it helped the Bigsby action, but not as much as I like. Plus, the arm was too high so I removed the nylon spring washer and that put the arm in the perfect position. I also added 2mm spacers under the spacers attached to the Bigsby frame to reduce the break angle over the saddle and I'm satisfied with the improvement.

Well, the soft spring experiment was a failure. Despite all the glowing reviews from the Gretsch folks who use it, the guitar just wouldn't stay in tune with the soft spring. So, back went the stock spring, but with the nylon washer omitted. It's still completely useable, but the action is stiffer than I normally like. The guitar is fun and I really like the sound of these Korean reissue HB-1s.

One other thing I have seen mentioned to pair with a bigsby is to use a string butler on the headstock to keep those d and g strings from having such a severe angle from nut slot to tuner post so they don't have so much friction in the slots.

I am guessing you already lubed the nut slots and are installing the strings over the Bigsby roller that is closest to the bridge for minimal break angle. So you are not using the tension roller at all, just the strings run from the installation post directly to the saddles, and not under that tension roller that is closest to the bridge.

Did you lube the nut and string the Bugsby with string over the roller and not under it to there is next to no break angle?

Yup. There is almost no break angle when strung over the roller.

Weird. So if the strings have no pinch points in the saddles or nutslots then maybe:
1. the strings just need to stretch out and settle some more.
2. Or check that the truss rod is snug and not in neutral.
3. Even lube the roller the strings are installed on.
4. Does your bridge have mounting post holes that are too large that let the whole bridge rock on their mounting posts too much when the tremolo bar is activated? It is a subtle rocking movement but you should be able to see it from the side. Some people debate that there should be no rocking, others say those type of bridges are designed to rock on their posts and return to 0 point for tuning stability. I am not sure which is true, but something to experiment with.

That's all I can think of. That is weird. I once had a Bigsby that worked fine with no alterations on an SG Deluxe.

They said more coming in January.
You can still see the "not available" pages for the blue and burst if you google it then click on the Sweetwater link.

A Gibson bass I bought had that "not available" screen and then they had more for sale a few months later so you never know.
I'm only interested if it comes out in the lighter transparent blue or carved.

I have to admit I am having a a difficult time bonding with the blue S100 Deluxe. Was thinking I may want check with Sweetwater to see if I can be returned.
The pickups have been the weak part for me. I have SF1DC guitars and I think those pickups sound great. However on my S100 Dlx I don't get the same vibe. On the SF1DC the pickups sound great in humbucker or coil split mode.

I was wondering if the pickups on the SF1DC is made by a different manufacturer than the pickups on the S100 Dlx. The SF1 DC has one screw on both sides of the pickup and the S100 Dlx has the classic 2+1 pickup mounting.

I haven't pulled the pickups out but may get to it this weekend. I'm just not feeling it with this guitar.

Anyone verify if the pickups are the same with both model guitars?

I think that the SF1 has HB-2 pickups and the S-100 has HB-1s. They are both made in Korea and are supposed to be same except for size. GAD might know more.

Correct, the HB-1 and HB-2 pickups are both made at BHK but they are very different from each other.
"BH" stands for Booheung Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. and the "K" stands for Korea as they also have a Chinese factory in which case the label would read BHC.

HB-2 picture by GAD. You see that this is a generic back plate from BH vs. the "vintage" HB-1 copy backplate on the HB-1 above.

So it looks like the HB2 is styled after the SD1's and HB1'styled after the Guilds. Style vs bobbin, wire and magnet selection. Not sure if just cosmetic differences or part/material changes.

I'm surprised that I'm having a tone issues where I significantly like the HB2 's more than HB1 copies. The SF1DC is a pretty different guitar from a S100 Dlx but it does have a solid center block and not full hollow. Maybe I need to do a pickup swap!
Definitely need new strings, some nut butter and additional spacer under the front of the Guildsby roller.

I'll give it a little more time before I do anything rash.

(I have a vintage A50 arriving tomorrow, sight unseen, as it popped up on GC the other day prior to a picture being posted. That guitar may consume my time a bit.)
