Smoking Salmon

About 7 lb. Salmon, Red and Sockeye, caught in Alaska by my wife's cousin.

Brined for 5 days (because I was in the hospital,) rinsed, dried 24 hours smoking for prob 7 hours or so.

Turns out bagels are super easy to make at home, Philly cream cheese and you're there ;]

Nothing like bagels, cream cheese, Lox, and capers for breaksfast!

Yummy! This reminds me, it's been a while since I fired up my smoker. ( my recent weekends have been taken over by raking leaves!) I might have to get up early tomorrow and see what choice cuts I can find at my local grocer.

Oh man did that ever turn out good! I'll be making some smoked salmon dip among other things.
