Just saw this on eBay. Pricelist from 1972. F612 $1000.
$1000 was a lot of money in 1972.
Ah, the F-612. The stuff of legends. I'll never own one, but I would love to get a chance to play one....
' Strang
Don't say Never Strang! I never thought I would have the opportunity to own one either. Stranger things have happened.
Maybe Oxnard?
As does the D-55 on the other page. (kind of hard to see here but I have a flat scan).Looks like the F612, F512, F412, and the Mark VII all have Asterisk marks next to their prices for special order only.
Oh that's interesting 'cause I looked for that, but couldn't see it, so thought they must have moved it to regular production by then.As does the D-55 on the other page. (kind of hard to see here but I have a flat scan).

So that's 12 more than 612, so you're good.Does owning a 512 and a 112 count? I guess not ..that comes to 624.
Stranger things have happened.

Now that I think bout it, isn't '72 the year it became a regular production model?
I'm thinking maybe that price list was printed before the decision was made.
Thank you sir! It's at home, not handy where I post from. All that info you can find on page 178 and 179 of "The Guild Guitar Book'.
