Yep, although the way the non roasted headstock is grafted on looks a bit clunkyI like the roasted maple neck. I have two Reverend guitars with roasted maple necks and these are very stable. Nice feeing also. Interested !

Right, the headstock is roasted as well but I think parker_knoll was looking at some of the stock pictures and refering to the color differences of the used wood. But that seems to depend on the light and on the used batch of wood, the right example looks pretty good to me.Headstock is roasted also...
The necks are nice to me, not too big not too small, the frets were rather rough but that is to be expected on a sub $500 guitar. I did the fret dressing myself, a skill I suggest everyone have.what are the necks like on the originals?
