Yamaha will have a press event with Córdoba Music Group, LLC. today, April 13. The event will take place at the Córdoba and Guild meeting spaces at NAMM 2023. Will be interesting to hear what they have to say. Hope we read something afterwards.

Agreed. We need new info so we can continue our "Yamaha owns Guild" discussions. :)
Regarding NAMM. A YGG employee wrote on another forum:
"YGG/Line 6/Ampeg/Cordoba/Guild might end up getting our own booth again in the future, but only if NAMM turns itself around this year and only when we have multiple big things to announce. NAMM's expensive. YGG's only a couple hours away, so we don't need to fly many people in (except for maybe Paul Hindmarsh), but booth space, union booth setup, hotels, food, gas... I know of a company that once spent $6-8 MILLION on NAMM, but that was back when the majority of dealer contracts for the year were signed there. Still, how many senior-level engineers could you hire for $6-8M?!"
So in general many regard NAMM no longer as very important to be there.

True of trade shows in general. In Germany, Analytica and Achema are both spiralling downward, as are most of them in the states.

Is that whammy bar located between the high E and the B string? That don’t look right! 😲
Good question. Were Jazzmasters that way? Never mind, it is like a Jazzmaster; just noticed the pic mushroom posted above. I used to have a Jazzmaster; I don't remember that whammy bar placement being an issue. Electronics WERE an issue, which is why I dumped that guitar.

I think this guitar could run for becoming a 'classic' maybe, in the range of a junior standard guitar, if it's priced correctly for it I'd say. It's got that thing that can make quite a few people want to buy IMO (shapewise)... But does it sound good enough for it (yet?) ?

"Rose Quartz" looks more like "Shell Pink" to me.
