This initial contoured version is a nice guitar with the main problem (for me at least) being how heavy it is, caused by the maple top I assume? (I'm not a big Les Paul fan). If it's weight was closer to the S-300's mahogany body it would be a much more comfortable to play. Of course my favourite Guild solid bodies are the S-300's and S-6x's so what do I know about corporate marketing.
