Ain't that cool? I have those on my (ex Norrissey) 1975 SF-II, but I did not know they were Gotoh - thanks GG!The Aria uses the same Gotoh tuners that Guild used on some models in the 1970s.
I learned that from Hans!I did not know they were Gotoh - thanks GG!
I’ve always liked those tuners & currently have them on my ‘76 G-37. Rebuilt them with washers from recent Grovers, which are metric & fit perfectly onto the button shafts.Ain't that cool? I have those on my (ex Norrissey) 1975 SF-II, but I did not know they were Gotoh - thanks GG!
Yes, that Takamine Gallagher-copy is the F-362s I referenced above which was so impressive back in the day. There happens to be one available at GC as we speak, but oh well, I’m no longer buying square-shouldered dreads. Too bad Takamine didn’t do a few more small-bodied clones with solid tops - like an F-30!Big fan of lawsuit Era guitars. Own two Takamine Acoustics both with solid tops. One is a copy of a Gallahger and the other is a D28/D35 clone. Also have two Aria Pro II electrics. One set neck les paul copy and a Herb Ellis Signature es175 full hollow. Played the Gallagher copy as my main stage guitar for years before I bought my first Guild.

Please let me know if I'm being repetitive - lookalikes have always been a huge kink of mine. Even when they feature "creative touches" not present on the originals.
