It’s free live on terrestrial tv here in. On ITV channel, but I suppose flying here is a bit expensive, not that you would make it in time.

I was thinking of that. But then I'd be driving home in the dark, which wouldn't be so bad except for the occasional oncoming headlights with the resulting "Where's the road?" And it might be snowing, which wouldn't really be so bad, but.... I decided to stay home, have a fire (in the fireplace), and search around Youtube to see if anybody's bootlegging the game.

We had trouble with over the air reception here as well. I bought, online, an outdoor antenna rig from Antennas Direct which works well bringing in stations @ 60 miles from here. The antenna I bought has a amplifier in the line. Of course, it wasn't free (it was around 150 when all was said and done). The company has always been helpful and accessible when you need to ask a question.

The NFL, CBS, advertisers, whoever stands to make a buck on the Super Bowl, is probably ecstatic over the whole Taylor Swift show. She has made the Super bowl relevant to a lot of otherwise apathetic people.

There actually was a bootleg of most of the game on youtube that was delayed, like, a half hour. It was awful! The stupid bootlegger had zoomed in on the right side of the screen and you couldn't even see the whole play. Awful. I went to something else.

Youtube now has the whole game in 20 minutes that the NFL actually produced -- all the first downs and other key plays and scores. Saves a lot of time. It won't play here, but you can watch it on youtube. Oh -- Kansas City beat San Francisco in overtime.

It is reported that Taylor Swift has made the NFL/Kansas City Chiefs approximatley 331.5 million brand dollars, since her first appearance at one of her boyfriend's games this season. This is an estimate based on ratings, jersey sales, instagram followers, and other algorithms. Personally, I think Taylor Swift is an absolute legend, amazing songwriter, performer, musician, guitar player, and totally beautiful. But, I won't get into all of that here. Any musician to me is a lot more interesting than pro football. I will say this year it was a great game (and, you know, Taylor Swift)

I thought the funniest thing going into the SB were all the viral likeness comparisons between SF QB Brock Purdy and Lee Harvey Oswald. It got to the point Purdy was asked about it in press conferences, and even addressed it on social media.

Admittedly, I couldn’t look at him during the game without thinking about Oswald!
