Just wondering to what point changes in the people in charge may affect quality, as if people trained at building one model get better each time they do it, changes among luthiers and workers wouldn't be good news...
I had read your post Ralf, but you know in big factories people often want to save here and there, and end up melting various building facilities into one, getting rid of some of their employees and so on...Will what makes Guilds be Guilds last is what I wondered.

Thanks, Ralf. That's exactly the post I was looking for! I remember it. So, technically, the Thayil S-100 US-built model is made in Oxnard, and it's fair to say that. But it's not being built along side of other Guilds in the building at Oxnard which is dedicated to making Guild guitars.

Yup... @Bernie .... This is exactly what I was referring to. Note: All other US-built Guilds are coming from the Guild building in Oxnard.

I too am looking hard at the black M-75. But I can't find these  anywhere.
