Casein picks

I will say that the casein picks provide a much clearer tone and agree with Br1ck that they bring out the mids and uppers. They are my favorite picks.

I find the brown vespel material duller sounding in comparison but use them when I want to downplay the highs. Their black material is in between.

It’s a bit like having the ability to change tone sensitivity on the fly not i like when changing strings to different materials.

The blems somewhat mitigate cost, and the upcoming sale even more so. But the bless are usually sold in twos. No different from taking the plunge for a blue chip or other upscale material pick. I've found it well worth it but YMMV.

The last time I bought from them I bought a blem. I think it was about $15 off normal price. I opened the package and there was a second pick included with a note that they thought I would like it based on what I bought so enjoy. Can't beat that.

I had an order go astray and inquired about it. Was told something slipped up and it would be mailed to me. I was not at all upset and told the owner no big deal. Well another two weeks went by and I e mailed that I still wasn't upset, but still had not received my pick. Got an e mail back that he was out of town on a family emergency. I said no problem, whenever, I just wanted him to know. A week or so later I received my pick with a free vespel pick and an apology. Their records showed they had mailed it to me weeks before. Things happen when the head honcho of a part time business is not around. The free pick is good but I prefer the casein material.
