But congratulations on getting a great guitar :D

Why thank you Jerry.

And - to top it off - I sold the DCE1 tonight! It essentially works out to be about an even trade for me for the D35. All is well.

Now, if I ever get my S300-A back I can redo my signature pic...time for Photoshop! ;)

Yeah, well I've got a D55, but I can't forget that old '74 D35 that I had played and missed out on cos funds were low at the time.... :(

Wow...that's really sad. Guess the D55 will have to console you in your misery. ;) ;) ;)

Of course, it might be a good idea to have both, if one were so inclined...

Not me of course. I mean you. ;)

Congratulations!

The D35 is easily in the top five on my "Most Underrated Guilds" list. It's a solid all around, workingman's dreadnought. I picked up my Westerly DV4 basically because it's a D35 with the satin finish. I've been using it as my "gigging" guitar with a Fishman Rare Earth pickup and I couldn't be happier with it.

That is also my ambition one day - they should make the perfect pair. Preferably a Westerly D55 sunburst :D
