Don't know if this would help avoid the clouded finish problem in hot/humid weather, but I use these Oasis sleeves always in the summer:

As crazy as it sounds, I sometimes sprinkle some unscented baby powder i.e. talc, on the guitar and polish it with a soft microfiber cloth. It eliminated the slight stickiness I had on my 09 D50. Talk is the softest mineral there is and doesn't scratch, kind of buffs out the very fine scratches on the pickguard too. You can try it on the back of the neck 1st to see the results....maybe it absorbs the off gassing of chemical residue, I don't know, but I do know I like it, occasionally. Steffan
