Had the bridge re-glued about '96.. it was a hot, humid summer with no aircon in our house where my wife and kids moved to in '93.
I'vea lso had a '51 Martin D-18 ($350), D-28 (also $350) and an 0018, can't remember the year. While the bridge was getting fixed I bought a Taylor 615, an amazing maple b/s, with spruce top. My BIL has the D-18 and a former pastor has the Taylor.
So, last week, my best friend from the late '60s and I were on the phone. He's got all these custom Martins he's bought over the years. About two hours after we had hung up the phone he calls me back. He proceeds to tell me he bought me a guitar and it should be there in a couple of days. It's a made in Mexico Dreadnaught Jr. All solid woods, spruce top, sapele back and sides. Cute little thing with 24 inch scale. Sounds really good for a small guitar
