Hello all. I'm lazy so it's taken me oh....a year to get some pictures of my x170 to share with my Guild friends. Only one ding on her right by the cable input, looks like she was stabbed by the tip of a 1/4" connector
Tuner buttons are Imperial types, not oem I'm sure but patina on them matches everything else, so I assume they've been on there a long time.
Question for Hans or anyone else that knows: Did Guild serial numbers go in order? Is this the 65th x170 made? I also wonder if this was made in '86 as indicated by the Guild site which I know is suspect.
Another question: Does anyone else have a "Friday" case? The Patina on this case seems right for the age, I just think someone had a bad week and got stuck on stencil duty
Oh and I LOVE this guitar. I read several reviews/opinions and got to demo a x150 at Norm's Rare Guitars in Ca..... which was good because I have stubby fingers and I needed to know if I could play a guitar I was going to have to buy online, as finding one here in AZ would be pretty tough.
