It’s 270 degrees here today. Kelvin for the win.
Bravo! Well done!

Here in downtown Toronto there's a mere dusting. Most snowfalls end up in the higher ground to the north.
The colder air has arrived from the west. Although Lake Ontario never freezes completely, ice is forming in bays & sheltered areas.

Most of the snow we got a week ago has been eaten up buy either ~3 inches of rain, of a day of 50 deg F temp (10 deg C). And then, after several days of snow not coming like the forecasts said, we got a dusting overnight that has not stopped, maybe 2 inches now and I cannot believe plows are out!

We have layer of water over a thick layer of ice on the ground. For some reason, I don't see many people walking around here :) I just ordered some Yaktrax (shoe traction product) for the next time this happens.

So the 7-8” of snow we got a week ago is all gone and it’s going to hit 70 degrees in Maryland today! Just crazy! It was 60 when I left my house at 6am this morning. 2 days ago I was bundled in 3 heavy layers. Today, a t shirt.
Same thing happened up here too in central MA, midnight. We've gotten (many) inches of rain and most of the snow cover has washed away since we got over a foot last week.

Well, here's my purchase today that I can't wait for. It's a fat-tire (4" wide) mountain e-bike. This will be a lot of fun and exercise for me in the crappier weather around here. I've been wanting a fat bike for over 10 years now, but with the electric assist it's now something that makes sense for me.

saying 12 to 18" here... we'll see what sticks
I'm west of you and I don't know who to believe. Depending on the weather outlet, we'll get anywhere between 5 and 14". I hoping for 5 because it's supposed to a heavy wet snow and my snow blower doesn't do well with it. Maybe I should turbo charge it.

I have made sure I don't need to be anywhere for a couple days anyway... I'll shovel a walk way to the mail box and a path off the deck for the dogs and call it a day. I've got a 1pm interview with a tech start up, so hopefully the internet stays stable.

Oh, wow... I guess this is tracking up from the south then! Stay safe down there, GG, folks. The snow started here only around 7am-ish, and it's just a "normal" snow so far. Not sure what we're in for later, but accumulation in central MA is negligible this morning.
