It also is the reason for Frono's long struggle with depression, (and heavy drug use) in his vain quest for a sense of purpose
His meeting with the devil at the crossroads probably hasn't helped him either...

You'll never catch me!!!! I'll get plastic surgery and change my name to "de Guild d'argent". Infallible.

If it weren't for bass players, who would banjo players look down on?

I am humbled, yes humbled, at the tender and sensitive way my struggles have been chronicled. I'm sorry I didn't join the conversation sooner. I spent most of the day here.

You finally got your doctorate in Theology?
Dang. Between you, me and Bruno, there may be hope for Pascal yet.

Nah. I raised the receiver of a M. Div., but he already is ready to try an exorcism, and we know about Pascal and Mrs. Fro...

I'm sorry but that doesn't cut as metal to me - it's hard rock and that's what geezers listen to over here :) We finns are metal-folk and so saturated by heavy-metal that even 80's Marshall-leads sound like bird chirping to our ears! Excellent playing nonetheless! You've got one tight rhythm hand, bluesypicky!

I should demo some metal for you when I have the time to record.

Oh man! I'm gone for a few days and come back to find out, bluesey has gone through a mid-life crisis and decided to take a trip back to his youth. Seems it has created quite a stir too!

Unfortunately, Pascal, as most of geezers find out, it's best to just stay where we are.:friendly_wink: I really did enjoy it though.

You're absolutely right Muovinen, it is hard rock. (Matter of fact, this is what I called it in the youtube clip title)
I know you're a metal fan and player but I just never got in this trip.
On another hand, in my now gone youth (as brutally pointed by Gary/rampside) I dabbled in hard rock for a long time, branching out from my blues roots, and I still love it.

I just thouht the use of "metal" in the thread title would have a better humorous resonance than "hard rock", and I got busted. Lol

thanks for the comment! :)

Hey! Don't burst my bubble! :numbness:

No sir, there's nothing wrong with taking a trip back to being a k...errr... one's younger self, if you want to, and there's no legal or moral law that says you can't!

If only I could get my wife to buy into that concept.
