It sounds like the bridge may be easier for the luthier to remove and replace!

Send it or take it to Tom. I sent a guitar to him from California.

I loosened them (good amount of play in strings now) and put it in the case. It can be repaired right? I need to find a luthier I can trust close to Tampa or Lakeland.

Easy repair for a tech/luthier. Probably $50-$100.

Oh my. The bridge is lifting up now . Half is down and half is lifting up. What should I do? Should I loosen the strings until I can get fixed? Stay away from playing it?

I had that happen on my GAD_30R. I took it to a local luthier who fixed the bridge, installed a pickup and gave the guitar a good setup. I have it back now and it is better than ever.
