Are these EMGs or Kent Armstrong pickups? I assume the Guild labeling is rather uncommon either way.

I have a pair of "single coil" pickups with the black plastic cover and Guild cursive markings and they are also Dimarzio pickups. However although they look like single coils with the black covers they ar actually a "stacked" bobbin humbuckers.

I have one of those pickups that I got somewhere. Any idea what guitar(s) they came in?

The Kents are epoxy potted, with exposed solder lugs protruding through it on the bottom.
I’m worried about pulling them out first of I’ve never done it and my pick up rings are broken but still on . I don’t want to break them more than they already are

DiMarzio vs. Kent Armstrong, compare the distance betwen the screws for height/tilt adjustment on the bass side:

I can't say that is a general rule but it might tell.

That would make sense. The Armstrongs have the three point mount epoxy potted, whereas the EMGs, Duncans and presumably DiMarzios do not, and use the same adapter.

My T-250 has the DiMarzio stacked humbucker with the Guild black cover as a neck pickup.

If the stacked humbucker was from that era, it could possibly have been an HS-1, HS-2, or HS-3.

As they're OEM, they could be anything. However, their top sellers at the time were the Super Distortion (and Dual-Sound, 4-conductor version), the PAF, and the Super II running a distant third, and the X2N an even more distant fourth. I suspect it's some variation of the three, and a casual inspection and ohm reading should give you a pretty good idea.

Thanks man, but are they possibly white ones?? Because that’s killer , I always thought they were Kent’s because they aren’t that loud but maybe I need to raise them
