When my left knee started to bother me in 2010 I started taking Glucosomin and switched to Corona. One of 'em is a miracle drug and I'm not going to quit taking either.

Veer, veer, veer, veer.

Tell ya what Doc. I had aken glucosamine/chondroitin for a few years, then ran out. Truth is, the stuff is pretty expensive and I had other piorities....surely is wasn't helping that much.....more of a placebo effect, right? I'd kind of forgotten I used to take it and a few months ago, my knee and elbow really began to hurt. Finally, about 2 months ago, I began to take it again. My knee or elbow haven't really hurt in over a month. If it's a placebo effect, it works for me.

I think a hardcore user like yourself can tell the difference between a placebo and real good s**t. :highly_amused:
I started using it more for preventative maintenance against gout's cartilage damage, but I also read that it can help repair the sheaths of your spinal discs, you know, the old "herniated disc".
I was afraid I might have done it about a year and a half ago, it was the worst back spasm I've ever had and upped my dosage a bit. So I still get the ol' spasms but never as bad as that time, so far....
The ol' glucosamine/chondroitin seems to help too.

I've been taking it since 2010 and all I know is that one month I could barely walk and then 30-45 days later the pain virtually disappeared. Placebo? I think that might be the Corona but I'm not taking any chances with that either.

Tomorrow morning I have arthro on my right knee. When that heals up we'll see then how my left knee is going to do.

Peace

It's hell getting old Doc. I'm putting off left knee replacement as long as possible. There's just something about the idea of somebody sawing through my femur that doesn't appeal to me.

Is this a veer from hanging guitars?
