hi LTGers,
new girl on the block. i purchased my 1977 D25-M a few weeks ago,
after many years of Guild lust, and am thrilled to be one of the
westerly kids.

i know you want images, but the guitar is already lined up for
some bench work with one of my favorite luthiers. when the guit
comes home to sing i will post photos for you.

i have loped around this forum for a couple of weeks and have to
offer up my congratulations for etiquette, pride, positve attitude
and general knowledge. i belong to a couple of other guitar forums
and a bunch of motorcycle forums. i have to say i really like what i
see here.

not much else to offer, at this point, but wanted to offer a brief
intro and say hey. so hey!

Hi milo, welcome to the neighborhood! Good choice of Guilds to start out with, hang around here long enough and you'll have several more. And yes, we'd love to see photos :D

Welcome Milo, kick your shoes off, relax your mind. So glad you've been able to finally get your Guild and a '77 D-25M is quite a fine start. We all anxiously await pictures of her when she's all spiffed up and ready to sing for and with you. You do realize it's just a start, right? And by the way, this is not the place to ask whether or not you should get another Guild, or which Guild you should get. The answer to the first question is always "yes" and to the second question is "get them both". joan

Welcome Milo!
The D25 is the one that got me (and many others) hooked on the brand... Watch out for gas now! Enjoy the ride.

Milo, you're going to have to try a lot harder at posting useless threads. You're up against some stiff competition around here in that department!

Welcome!

Hey Milo, and welcome to the GAShouse gang. We're all similarly afflicted so no stones will be thrown here.
You're going to love that D25, as many of us do.

Stay in tune and stay tuned,

Milo,

Couldn't help but notice that you're in "connectThedot." (very creative....I like it! )
My sister lives and teaches in Wallingford so I'm wondering how close you might be.

Curiosity rules our lives!
