Darryl,
It almost looks as with Words guitar, they tried to finish it to resemble my D-25M. The M has a little higher gloss finish though, however the colors are close.
Ken,
I remember sometime back sitting in the shop of the local Taylor dealer and playing all of them. I swear to you, until you got to the 700 series Taylors, I saw some of the shoddiest workmanship to I've ever seen in a guitar. I'm talking about things like huge gaps between the heel and the body, some filled with puddy. I did play an 810 Taylor that felt and sounded pretty good, not as good as our 72's, but a good sounding guitar. Of course, it retailes for $4000 some odd dollars.
Word,
Are you getting the impression we like our old Guilds?
