I hope I care in 20 years.
True, but I’ll take it over skipping spring and going right to summer days in April/May like was becoming the norm. The April showers bring May flowers is finally living up to it’s name. Plus it’s necessary for normal water tables and filled reservoirs, which has been a recent concern.I'm a little sick of this 2" of rain everyday. I'm not a houseplant - I don't need to be watered every day.
You probably aren't outside during it...True, but I’ll take it over skipping spring and going right to summer days in April/May like was becoming the norm. I’ve been in and out of it all day every day. I’ve had my rain gear on a few times these past 2 weeks. Beats the hell out of pouring rain when it’s 35 degrees outside. You probably aren't outside during it...
More of just a heads up. For anyone that was a fan of the HBO series Band Of Brothers and The Pacific, the third series from the same makers starts today on Apple+ (you get 3 free months w/ Prime...or a Samasung w/ FireTV. )
About to sit down and watch the first 2 episodes. Been looking forward to this for a while!
No doubt. By the time I bother to look at the nutritional label, I'm already WAY past the war time rations it's based on! Heck, nothing is all that bad for you based on "suggested serving size." I'm 6'4, 230 lbs of mostly bulk. 3 friggin oreos isn't a serving I'd suggest.Nutritional labeling should also include a section for "What if I eat the whole package in one sitting".
Just think, in just a couple of months we'll be having the rain everyday until fallI can sympathize; I'm outside at least twice a day every day - even when there's a hurricane coming (gotta take care of our horses!). I'm more familiar than I care to be with too hot, too cold, too wet, and too dry and dusty. Oh, and too windy, and there's no breeze. (I'm a weather wimp - almost never happy! ).
I'm guessing you have to be out delivering mail? How long do you need to be out?
Just keep repeating, "The paperwork is in the mail...."
In the meantime I'll hope "the clouds dissolve and the sky turns blue" (Don McLean).
I hate that. I had a package arrive at the depot in the next county (completely normal) only to be taken to a facility in New Jersey for a day, then back to the same depot near me where it sat for a day before being delivered.I'm tracking a package from an online order. Yesterday afternoon it left a town in Georgia, about five hours away. At this moment it is in Arkansas.
