Hey Buddy, I love the guitar!! And I love the stripey bookmatched spruce on top!! That kinda stuff is really good to me. Now, I see a little dark thing just above the bass side bridge, and then another directly left of it near the top of the lower bout, bass side (and a matching faint bookmatched one on the treble side). Are those just anomalies in the spruce, or what? I'm sure not cracks but I've been trying to wipe my screen to get rid of them.... but what are those? Thanks for the photos, my friend!! (y)

I believe it is the same as also often found in maple, what @AcornHouse explained as "grain line as it reacted to some environmental factor during that particular year.". Natural wood.
