Just a followup to my original post. This guitar is just fantastic. Action is 2/32" at the 12th fret and no buzzing!!! Maybe my most comfortable guitar to play. The previous owner of this guitar had hand pain, so this guitar pretty much sat in a closet for a long time unplayed. I'm not a big fan of unplayed guitars, they NEED to be played. Well, I've been playing this one.....a lot! The sound is really starting to open up and it just a sweet, sweet sounding guitar. I'm coming from the 00 and OM size guitars, so this Grand Concert size with the deep box took some getting used to, but is still a great sized guitar....very curvy, and I usually play sitting down, so I can find a comfy posture to play on the sofa, in a chair, etc. Still loving it......one of my favorites

Beautiful guitars.....Welcome aboard 1wiley. let us know how you go with cutting that pickguard from a sheet if you do so. Ive got a little Washburn parlour ( sweet picker) Guitar just begging for one such modification. Southern :wink:

Hey guys, just an update. I put a Tonerite on my Guild, and WOW, really opened her up. I've tried this device on my archtop guitar (amazing results) and this Guild. If you can try one, do. I was a non-believer but can't deny the sound improvements. I put this guitar on low settings, as it is loud enough, just to sweeten those highs, and it did.
