Hutdog are you ToddEngler?? We can rename user accounts here if you want to do that, although perhaps now it's too late.

Well, the Memoir certainly looks nice, Hutdog, and the shapes are remarkably similar to the Gibson. I'm sure an Anthem system will go a long way if you do intend to play plugged in.

Congrats, and thanks for the photos.

Picked it up today. Took 11 days for Musicians friend to finally send it. Apparently it's the last one.
The set up was pretty terrible, I sanded 2mm off the bone saddle with room to spare. The fret ends could use some smoothing out. Polished the frets and cleaned the fret board. Put new strings on it. The tuners are questionable, might need to find a set of Grovers to fit.
Glad I got it on the clearance price cause I don't think it's worth the full price.
Doesn't have the bottom end or volume of my Gibson L00 but compared to the Gibson nothing will sound as good. The neck is a little fatter.
It has the same crappy Fishman pickup as my Guild D120ce, which I replaced with a LR Baggs Anthem. I might be putting an LR Baggs in the P250 as well.
Overall, I won't be worried as much with this in the airplane cargo hold when traveling but I will definitely be missing the Gibson L00.
If anyone knows of Bridge Pins that will fit, the info would be appreciated. It came with plastic bridge pins.
Yeah these tuners are not good at all, very difficult to fine tune. I have a few months to replace with New Grovers

I'm sorry, @Hutdog ... The original poster of this thread was @todddengler , whom I/we haven't heard back from after I posted some questions early on. I think you were responding to me yesterday, but I was a little confused about who I was talking to. OK, you are not Todd. :) Anyway, best wishes with your P-250 Memoir. Looks like a nice axe, but probably won't hold a candle to your Gibson OO. Good luck. Oh, and a Baggs Anthem is quite the upgrade for your Memoir. Very likely you can get a great sound with that plugged in. Sorry if I'm repeating myself.

Yes I realized that after I responded.
The tuning machines on this P250 are unacceptable. Very difficult to fine tune, don't turn smoothly at all. They are a cheap grover knockoff. Ordered some grovers but hoping I don't need to ream the hole out.

I found the tuners on my P250 workable after generous lubrication of the nut slots, but worthy of an upgrade for a constant player.

yes, I lubed the gears and now they are working better. They could still use an upgrade
