One more pic as it's out by the fireplace and I've been having fun playing it. Very sweet! Kinda' dwarfs the Surfliner, doesn't it?
I agree, but I'm a low bling type myself. I really love my D18 Authentic 1939, not just for the way it sounds and plays, but for the way it looks too. It's just a guitar; everything you need, and nothing you don't.Call me boring, but I find those distracting and a bit 'trying too hard'. I like the simplest form of that guitar. The stock black for me.
Chaz, congrats on the F50, and if I recall, it has been a while since you got a new to you Guild, no? I still think an F50 is a model I should own one day...OK, gang... What do you think? I had an extra Thalia TRC in koa... The flip side of it is rosewood (I think)... Do you like either / neither? The stock TRC that came with the guitar is black plastic... Can't make up my mind...
Super major congrats! I might have to get me one of those one of these days. I had the F50R out the other day... It sure is easier to fingerpick than my 12ers, lol!Well, I'm a jumbo lover, so nothing new or intimidating to me.
That is a lovely example of a New Hartford F-50..
We have a rare case where the bottom screw of the TRC is missing!!!
Buuuut at least it is right side up!!
