F47R is the perfect guitar, "auditorium size" with dreadnaught depth. Rosewood body/adi top will beat any dreadnaught "bluegrass" guitar out the gate, yet just a delicate as you would want a fingerstyle guitar to be. I found the NH F40 GSR to be close or as good, maybe not quite as loud, a better "bedroom" guitar. Same size, but not the depth.

It's weird they once stopped building F-30s (Mini Jumbos looking like OMs or OMs according to years & factories) and F 40s (genuine ones), as the former were one of the first models Guild ever made, and the latter the most iconic Guild guitar ever I think... I bet Tim Miklaucic wasn't that much of a connoisseur after all... What do longtime LTGers think ?

Acoustic guitar classifications are good descriptors.
Parlor, Concert, Orchestra, Grand Orchestra, Grand Auditorium, Jumbo, Dreadnaught, or Slope-Shoulder Dread
We will never get away from Martin's influence on American-made acoustic guitars.
