Interesting.
I could never stand his droning, depressing, monotone dirges.
And in my opinion, of all the songs he composed, "Hallelujah" was the worst.

about the only song I liked was Bird on a Wire.

Well, I guess I've always been a bit strange. The odd man out maybe. And that's o.k. because I'm at the age now where I just don't give much of a damn.
It's not a dig at you Richard. Not at all.
I just really liked that song.
I am sure he has a lot of fine tunes.

I love "I'm Your Man" and perform it with some regularity when I play solo.

I hate Hallelujah. Only because I spent a few years travelling around the east from Toronto to Florida videoing dance competitions and I couldn't tell you how many teenage girls did their interpretive dances to that song but it was a double heck of a lot! There are a few other songs that gig ruined for me as well. lol
