I usually prefer blonde Guilds, but this was for sale locally after the ebay auction ended with no bidders (about 9 years ago). There's a '61 X500 with DeArmond's on ebay now with a back like this one.

I really like the mini-hummers, the neck is perfect and the slender body makes my shoulder happy. I also like the rich, vintage jazz tone that comes from the Pete Biltoft blade pickup in the X150:
