Well, they got a totally reasonable price for the F-50R, a few hundred more than its street value, probably due to his ownership.

That never ceases to amaze me & always has me scratching my head. There doesn't seem to be much of a shortage of "vintage" Gibsons, as anyone who frequents guitar shows can attest. You guys at Arlington this year take note as well. You're practically wading through the vintage Gibsons listed at top dollar, but are lucky to find a dozen vintage Guilds at the same show, going for relative peanuts. :?
