Any and all things Zeppelin. When you're lost in time, and that's how you prefer it.

Careful not to blow out your headphones, big bass.

Interesting stage antics at 29:29.

Zeppelin and stale are fairly mutually exclusive for me, and millions of others still in awe, amazement, whatever you want to call it. As agape as we are supposed to be of an unseen being, I remain agape of what was created, that can be seen, heard, as a manifestation of the possibility of an unseen being.

A good example, maybe the best, cut right to the chase, their swansong quite possibly, Stairway to Heaven.

You either love it or hate it, you don't get tired of it.

I've heard it a million times, and have come to the decision that it's one of the finest compositions rock music anywhere, from any time period.

And that's after "hearing it too many times" as many people point out, like Hotel California, yes, you did hear it "too many times" and that part of the charm, and just how good it is that is can actually get better and better as time goes on, you change and become even more appreciative. You 'hear it again one day" after a long break, with fresh ears and you're blown away, even more than before. Like a watching a movie again and noticing details you missed before.

I like a lot of music more as time goes on, It's a comparison thing. I'm stuck in the past. Bands I didn't like much at one time like Stooges, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Green Day etc all sound fabulous to me know.

So, "good" music is not only timeless, it only gets better with time.

it's one of my favorite guitar solos to hear, that is for sure.
that and the solo on Tom Sawyer.
the solo on Limelight.
Bullet the Blue Sky

I’m lukewarm on Stairway. I like Zeppelin a lot but I don’t need to hear Stairway anymore. I know my absolute favorite track is When the Levee Breaks. If I had to round out my top five I guess I’d go with Tangerine, the Immigrant Song, Gallows Pole, and In My Time of Dying. That’s right now though, could change except for number one.

the main problem I have with Zep is the singer. I just can't stand his voice.

I’m that way with Rush. I get why some people might be like that with Zeppelin but I like Plant’s voice. I saw him a couple months ago and although he has mellowed he still broke out the vocal pyrotechnics on a couple Zep numbers.

I kind of think you can like Roger Daltrey's voice or Plant's, but not both...I know that isn't necessarily true but is in my case.

My fav band by far, and been a hardcore collector of all things Zep for about 40 years. But, I'll be the first to admit that their absolute strength is in individual/collective performance, unlike The Beatles, where the songs themselves are the strong point. (I could probably listen to a kazoo orchestra doing Beatles tunes and enjoy them, but I've yet to hear a Zep cover I find worthy of a second listen) Their peak creative window was from about 70-76, but my goodness, what an 11 year run they had.

My true love is their live performances. On a good day, outright untouchable. On a bad day, still better than most. They walked a musical tightrope every time they stepped on stage. While they basically repeated setlists on a nightly basis, you'd still get completely different shows as the tunes themselves morphed from week to week.

Here's just one of my alltime favorite moments from their entire career. A rare How Many More Times for 1973, at Southampton University. They multitracked the show for a possible live release, but the first 1/2 of the show was pretty subpar, especially for Euro 73 where they were just blistering hot....10x more than US 73.
