Now with all the talk of "Celebrity Guilds", only The King http://www.scottymoore.net/ep76guild.html would choose a Guild and specifically an F50 as His last stage guitar. One could only speculate as to the value, and being a Sunburst...it's real purity. A fitting instrument for Elvis's last Curtain Call of....Love Me Tender.

George Strait - Custom Shop D-100

Noticed a great Wrangler Jeans ad featuring George holding this baby in a 'Western' store in Alberta :D

George, his Guild and two of his closest friends in Fort Worth circa 2008. Think I've seen these two on some wanted posters...

Ryan Adams did play a D25 until it got smashed up by an airline a few years back. Plays a Hummingbird now.

A Hummingbird is just a "poor man's" D25!

At least Ryan didn't kick a whole through it or anything.
  I LIKE it! that one goes into my book of quotes. :D

No disrespect meant to King George, and I've never seen him in concert, but have watched many vids and have never seen one where he actually played the guitar he was wearing. It seems that the guitar is just part of his costume. I've always wondered about that.

That's the beauty of Wikipedia, boys and girls. Anybody can add or subtract from an entry if they think there's a mistake or an omission.
