Tough one. Today (only) my vote goes to the D40 Richie...

Tought question for sure. I'm with Scratch, D40 Richie gets my vote. I would like to get a chance to spend some time with a D25 or D15, mahogany version. I've read so much about them that my curiosity -- and GAS -- are high.

I would have to say the F-47 MCE,made in Westerly R.I. (which is not REALLY an island)......I digress....this is the BEST Guild I have ever played......lol....and no, it is NOT the ONLY Guild I have ever played. I once owned an angel voiced G312-NT from 1974 that was the best 12 string I have ever played....EVER......

I have been through several - D25, D 35, D 40, D44, D44M, D 50, DV 52, D 55, F 40, F 50, and M 20, plus a couple others. My keeper, the best of the bunch from bluegrass to blues, from folk to rock, from fingers to flatpick, is a '73 F50R.

I'm deeply in love with the DV73, but the GF60R is, for me, the best all-around guitar. It works beautifully in any musical situation, comfortable to play in any position, huge dynamic range, cuts or blends, etc. My fave.
