Who would stoop so low
This could've been two posts, but I was running out of "likes" anyway, so thanks!!Who would stoop so low
You have to take a stand sometimes, chazmo!Good job, Steve!
Bosendorfer was a shocker on the Yammy roster, and obviously unharmed.

The whammy bar has an arm!Like in Star Wars - are we going to see one of them chop the others arm? . . . errrr . . . since guitars not have arms - the neck ?
My first good acoustic was an FG160 too. I got in in November 1973. I didn't own another acoustic until 1995 when I got my A50 (profile picture). And for 11 years of that period I managed a guitar store. Why did I not move up from the FG160? Because I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't see any reason to make incremental moves from the Yamaha until I could afford to buy a small rosewood bodied Guild. That spoke a lot for my esteem of the FG-160 (and its replacement the FG335 that we sold a ton of). As much as I'd like to have a D40 from my years between '77 and '88 in the retail music biz, I'm glad I waited. My very first git was a Yammy FG160, made in Taiwan, early '70s. Still have it. Gigantic bang for the buck. It is a shame what has happened to the Guild brand over the decades. I hope Yamaha makes quality USA made Guild acoustics.
