I'm getting the impression that you guys are poking fun at this fine Corona built guitar? This does not conform to "guitar correct" policies. You may comment about the color, but not if it can be construed as an indictment of Corona built guitars. Someone could be offended, and we ALL have a basic right to buy ugly guitars. Thank you.

Yeah but that things not just fugly, it's a crime against nature and shouldnt be allowed to live... Acoustic guitars should be natural, sunburst or Black . No way I'd ever show my face anywhere with that thing....

My ex Corona D25 was seriously one of the best soundinging guitars I've ever had, mahogany top flat back.....very different in tone from the sweet 16 I had, which was brighter, and more Martinesque.....I'd like to try another Corona one to see if that was the standard or what....
This might be the perfect guitar for busking though.....imagine people might think......poor guy, had to settle for a guitar in that color.......might even put a sign up sayijng please help me affort to buy a 'normal' guitar.... Hey Pez, what you think? Steffan

How about candy apple red? and maybe a pair of those 'testicles' that you sometimes see hanging from the back of a pickup truck.... Steffan

Guys; you all laugh, but i really wouldn't mind buying this one. It's perhaps the ultimate veer. Who'da thunk it?

Sandy; I've always had natural tops, but when I first played the corona, In a McDonalds, where I met the guy, I could tell the Guild sound and a great one from the 1st chord....took me about 3 seconds to say yes....Payed $500 without case, and never regreted it for a second....only wish I still had it...although I never did quite get used to a solid color guitar....If this one has anywhere near the same sound...you WILL be happy with it...despite its odd color... :D Steffan

That's the thing, Steffan. The color is off the hook. I'd love it if Hans would chime in on this. I''m already looking at this one for a beater, but would probably rather have this Guild. It's so ugly it's beautiful. 8)

OK, here's the solution: go ahead and buy it and you'll have an answer when the post comes up, "Which Guild would you get rid of if you had to get rid of ONE?"

Of course, you might become attached to it.....

Is it aqua ?? Seafoam comes to mind as the official color ???

Mine's basic black, you can wear it with anything. Much more versatile.
