It reminds me of the days when one of the hallmarks of a "preppy" was clothing in "shades of green not found in nature".

In theory, a playable D-25 with a case for $250 should be a steal. At that price you have a good sounding beater and a good case for your more cosmetically appealing D-25. It is also true that you will have a unique Guild to bring to LMG 2011.

I'm kind of with Dos Corgis on this one. Go for it.

Thanks for the heads up on this beauty! I have a call in to a local air brush artist to see what he would charge to do his magic on it. I was thinking of a "Partridge Family" theme.

Thoughts?

I believe that Jeff is correct with "Seafoam Green"! It's a highly desired color in custom color vintage Strat circles.

Think how cool it would look if you played in a wedding band though!

You'd also look pretty good cashing that $5000 check!

(I wish my band was good enough to play weddings! :? )

My nephew who is making his living with music, thought long and hard about music at his reception. He was going to just have a stage and leave his Strat, bass, keyboard and his mother's drum set on it and let his musical friends do what came naturally but the idea didn't fly with his fiance. Probably just as well. His mother threatened to bring her soprano sax and channel Kenny G. for the evening.

Back when I was heavily into riding bicycles, Bianchi's standard shade was close to this and was called Celeste and the cognoscenti said it "grows on you". Maybe it does!

Seem to remember you like a little turquoise in a guitar - plus coral, anbalone, and any other bling going. You could buy a turquoise colored guitar and have some rubies set into it

but would probably rather have this Guild. It's so ugly it's beautiful. 8)
Well at least there's two of us here who wouldn't let a little thing like color get in the way of true love. A face only a Guildaholic could love!
Even though us Corona owners lament the fact they don't get no respect, maybe now we know why.
