I can only find photos of Jorgen Ingmann playing Gibson guitars so I'm guessing he didn't actually play an X-350.
Interesting enough in "A Concise History of Electric Guitar" by Adrian Ingram he wrote:

So I wonder if such statement was also made only based on that album cover...

Wouldn't be the only time that link was made. The association of Nick Drake with the M-20 being well known to all of us:unsure:

Was looking for the old "Videos of people playing Guilds" thread...it must be buried deep so I just decided to post it here instead.

An old classic by Gorgie Fame and the Blue Flames. I believe this is Colin Green, their original guitarist who left the band for several years, then rejoined just in time for them to pull out several hits. (other notables who were briefly in the band were John McLaughlin and Mitch Mitchell. (When Fame ultimately signed a solo contract and the Blue Flames disbanded...just 2 weeks later, an American upstart staying in England snatched Mitchell and started the Jimi Hendrix Experience)

There's a great close up of the Guild late in the video. Love this tune btw! That turnaround is just infectious! I had totally forgotten about this song until it was featured in the great series The Queen's Gambit about a female chess phenom.

Colin Green can be seen playing the same guitar in the movie O Lucky Man!, where he is backing Georgie Fames friend, Alan Price:cool:

My mind is blown by Sunny War. I've been listening non-stop for the last few days..She plays a Guild acoustic, but I can't identify it. What a great player and singer!

Couldn't tell from the video, but yes that is definitely one of the "True American" models, wilmy.

And, sorry if I jumbled the model name. I think you're right that it's "DCE-1," not "DC-1E." Cutaway and electronics were part of the model.

Whoa, had no idea PT also owned a F612, and he used it on Who's Next!
Well no wonder that album is so bad ass acoustically.

Pete Townshend has used a Guild F-612XL 12-string guitar on most solo and Who recordings beginning with 1971’s Who’s Next. He purchased this guitar from Manny’s in New York. Prior to 1971, he had used a Harmony Sovereign H1270 12-string. He continues to use this guitar for stage performances today. (Pete may also own other Guild F-512 models.)
