Looks like you and I both appreciate the color of old binding more than the color of new binding. I have a 1953 Guild that has lost most of its binding, and I'm hoping to re-bind it with old used binding. So please let me know if you are salvaging any two-ply binding and I'll buy it from you. I know it's weird, but this old '53 would look wrong with new binding. When I get a picture of it, I'll fax it.

That sounds like an excellent idea.I bet you could even spray the binding before you install it and maybe not have to worry about overspray on the guitar or insane amounts of masking, etc.
