If you are including Blues 90s, then sign me up.

Mean, green and flamey. I just like the tonal attitude. I think it's a 2001.

I was actually messing with DRC after his anti string thread rant. I should have been more specific as to which Dave I was talking to. That green P90 is awesome too though. Beautiful guitar

The strings I use are the ones my local store stock, Curt Mangan. Are they good? No clue! But I do know that I can get them at anytime.

String threads are fine, I just needed to vent that day. By the way what brand of toilet paper should i use when its humid out and my bottom is sore? Just saying.. LOL.

Cottonelle.
Strong for a secure feeling, yet delicate on the sphincter.
I trust Cottonelle, and I would recommend it to a friend.

I wonder if that's the first time the word "sphincter" has been used on this forum? It's fun to say too! sphincter, sphincter, sphincter

Thanks Hagmeat, there is one more piece of 4 string (long scale) hollow electrified maple candy left in New Hartford that could have your name on it. PM sent!

I am a proud new owner of a 1998 Bluesbird (Natural) #CL001785.....

I swapped out the Seymour Duncans for a SWEET pair of Tom Short's "Marc Ford Humbuckers" ..... This is such a killer guitar! I have always liked Guilds, and I kick myself for not biting the bullet years ago. Better late than never!

Nice guitar, travesty!

How did you adapt the Tom Shorts "Marc Fords" to a 3-screw configuration?

Sorry for the late post, I have a 1997 Bluesbird in transparent red finish. Here is a pic but the quality with the flash is not too good.

Cheers
Steve

I had a 2003 that was very much like Steve's. I gave it to my nephew when he graduated from college, and I miss it. I'm looking forward to getting my new Aristocrat very soon.

Thanks for the welcome guys! RussB, The pick-ups in your Bluesbird has a little metal adapter to accommodate your standard pick-ups. You can use any pick-up you like...... Treem, Yes, this is the same guitar from Chris' Guitar. I can not get over how well this plays and sounds. I am in love.......and I'm a Tele guy. I might have to buy a Bluebird 90 down the road......

I haven't been here in ages, but I sold my goldtop Bluesbird.
Guilds are made to be played, and mine was just collecting dust :blue:, so I found her a good home.

So you can remove my name from the list. I still have my S-100 and my Starfire III though!

Looking at a bluesbird

Hey there, first post.
Don't know where else to post feel free to delete!

Trying to buy this Bluesbird and I don't know what it's worth. I did play it and it's in excellent condition.(one knob is replaced, that's the extent I know of that's not original) please help me find a good offering price. It's from a friend, not posted anywhere else online, so I have time to mull it over. He just asked me if I was interested.

Serial number cl001974.
I called guild and they told me it was a
February 2000 model
AAA maple top
Honduran mahogany
Indian rosewood

Sorry no pic, it looks just like travesty's guitar

My Bluesbird has a serial number with a CH prefix. Every "Date Your Guild" site I've been to lists the CH prefix as a '90s D4-12 acoustic and nothing else. Anybody here have any knowledge of how that could be? The neck appears to be a normal BB neck/board and doesn't look anything like the D4-12. The serial configuration is CH000xxx
