Phil,
Welcome to the thread and to LTG! Though since getting back from Afghanistan I have been terrible about keeping up the list, I will add you to the database.
She looks great to me!!
There are a few guys that have either inherited a BB with a Bigsby or added them later.
I think it is a great look, and from what I understand, if done properly, will sound and feel great.
I love the fortune there! Definitely got some character!
Welcome aboard!
Best,
Dennis

Just discovered this forum. I bought a Bluesbird over eBay back in January 2004. Serial No. CL000804 which should make it a 1997. There's also a clear plastic sticker just below the SN with the number 914333. Don't know what this means.

I have some images on my desktop, but the "Insert Image" link in this text editor wants me to enter a url. Can I directly upload images to the forum from my desktop or from any folder on my hard drive?

Guild Bluesbird 1997 SN CL000804 Cherry Sunburst (I think)
Gretch Chet Atkins Tennessean 6129 1963 SN 571160
Hohner G3T 1986 SN 8785671
Martin D35 1974 SN 344274
Yamaha Classical CG171C 2005

Welcome to LTG! Hans Moust is the expert, he maybe knows what this 914333 number might be. A photo would help. But you need to host them on any other webpage and link the URL of the picture here. You can't directly upload pictures to LTG, it's a matter of cost for the webspace as this webpage is privately hosted only and relies on donations of the members (for instance when guitars are sold with the help of the forum).

Here's my 1997 (I think) Bluesbird, S/N CL001239...

It was pretty trashed before I bought it and was masterfully brought back to life by Jay at NTL Guitar in Nashville...including an old set of HB-1 pickups. Plays and sounds just killer. Unfortunately, the case is just as trashed as the guitar was so if you've got a Bluesbird case lying around without any guitar to fill it please let me know. I'm putting a post in the WTB section as well. Thanks!

I'm attempting to upload some photos using the url associated with each image from my facebook account. Hope this works. The SN CL000804 is illegible in the image, but the plastic sticker number 914333 is clear. Added on by the dealer?

It doesn't work how you did it. You need to right click the picture in FB and copy the URL from the little window that opens completely, including the ending .jpg. A link from FB which is not a picture location does not show up here.

Thanks SFIV1967. Let's try again. As I mentioned earlier, the SN CL000804 is illegible in the closeup image of the back of the head, but the plastic sticker number 914333 is clear. Added on by the dealer?

Hi Stan. I'm finally getting around to this and posting photos for the 1st time. Cross your fingers.
This is my 97 Bluesbird, purchased from ebay about 8-10 years ago. The seller bought it as an investment, and thus, it was basically a NOS piece when I got it. s/n CL000606
That said, I more recently bought an 86 Nightbird, so will look to sell this one. Look for it in the FS/FT section.

Okedoke. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Everything I've searched for here says to copy the URL and paste. That's what I'm doing.
Sorry for the litter.

On Photobucket, when you select the pic you want to post, there will be a box to the right that say "direct." Click on it (which will copy the link), then dont paste it directly into your post. Right above the reply box is an icon that looks like framed picture, should be three from the right.
click on that and paste the link you got from Photobucket into the window that will pop up. Click ok and it will appear in your post.

@PaulG: You also can always edit a previously written message, so when you try something instead of writing a new message you can edit and preview to see how it looks.
You might have to go to "Settings" here on the top right of the LTG page, go down to the bottom left to "General Settings" and again select almost at the bottom "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing".

Thanks for the help everyone! I'll try again in the FS/FT section. Sorry for the redundant pics. I only planned on posting one pic, but I appreciate the free advertising.
