I got some pics on Craigslist but now sure if I could post here.
I got people telling me they are only worth $600, right!

I like the top of your CL002731 (below)! Would love to see a picture of your CL001249 or best of both next to each other! I wonder how much different the two finishes look.
Depending on the light your CL002731 looks different in color.
You said above CL002731 is a flamed top, but isn't that a quilted top as well?

Sorry bout that, that tobacco burst quilt top is a 2001 (CL002731), the other is a 2001 (CL001249) is a sunburst flame top. Where did you get that pic, did I post here before maybe? Hans gave me the dating info years ago. I have played these guitars very little over the years, as I've gotten older I'm liking the longer scale lengths of other brands, much more comfortable to play.
I did put them on craigslist, looking for a trade for one of them or I'll sell one outright. I will get pics of both side by side soon. I will definitely keep one.

Spike... depending on the condition, I would say that is the very low end for pricing.... You can look around for some historical data to see what they are selling for.... but I have seen very nice birds go for over 1000. They are holding value pretty well. I hope you are not really thinking of selling, but if you do there are plenty of folks around here that would take them off your hands.....

I think I have either an '98 or '99 Tobacco burst BB (cl001090). Had it for a couple years now, only gigged it actively couple times, but she's my number 2. Haha mostly due to that I was playing bass in a semi-respectable/busy band for the last while, so she's not terribly road-tested, haha. Still some jams with buds and rocking around the house, you can't beat it
And for some conversation, any ideas and/or options for replacing the plastic knobs? I was never 100% sold on them, to be honest.
