I like this one from the deluxe Beck-Ola re-issue, sounds like maybe "Traffic meets Derek and the Dominoes"?, (and written by Hank Marvin, no less https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Throw_Down_a_Line ):

Now I know it isn't...but this looks almost exactly like MA Route 202 South, past the road to Pelham/Amherst and past running along side the Quabbin Reservoir, heading towards Belchertown. Yeah, yeah I know, most of you are going WTF? But the people from MA, especially UMass graduates, will know what I am blathering about...;)

The more you dig, the more there is.

Literally invents word, now being passed around on guitar pedals but more importantly in collective consciousness.

Why is it taking me this long to realize this IS the Supergroup of the 60's?

Looking at the video above...slight vere...who remembers Plush amps? Back in the day, around here, we though them
to be a copy of Kustoms...but they were anything but...6L6 powered tube amps, somewhat in the Fender vein I think, its
no wonder the Beck Group used them...anyone remember the full page ads in the mags? ;)

Rod is about the finest vocalist for me, he's every bit the gem Jeff was, sweet bass lines, soubds like they borrowed Nicky Hopkins from the Stones, good stuff, and the songs of that era had the sweetest endings.

Bringing me sadly back to reality, for just a moment. Sister in law cut this amazing CD a couple years ago now, really quite the songwriter, also didn't hut that she got Al Stewart's ridiculously accomplished long time guitar player multi instrumentally on every cut but every song drops off like a rock at the end. I says to her, when she sent us the demo, how about these cool ending that fade out? Nope, it's just "not a thing" anymore. How sad.

"The history of Plush is not a very definitive. More information would always help, but so far what I have found out is that Plush started around 1968 in New York City. The first address that I have for them is 30 Irving Place. By 1970 they had moved to 629 West 50th street. Meanwhile, in 1971 they started a manufacturing facility in Santa Fe Springs, California, on 13623 East Pumice Street. There they manufactured amplifiers until they went Chapter 11 in 1974. All their remaining bits were either made into a last run of amplifiers or sold off.

As to connections with Earth Sound Research, it is still shaky whether Plush and Earth were the same company, used the same contract houses to build gear, or if Earth came in the wake of Plush."

Interesting rabbit hole there, uncommon amps.

I love the gorgeous and rather Gilmourish - in style - Marshall arrangement hiding the Boogie amps, so beautiful.

I remember Joe Perry being a huge Beck fan and he showed up backstage at an Aerosmith concert...

Andy Fuchs worked at Plush for a while. He bought the trademark, and sells pedals under that name.

Some incredible whammy tips here.

I was browsing some of his other videos. Impressive lessons on technique.

Damn it all, now I’m GASing for a Jeff Beck Strat and whammy…. and I really don’t even play electric any more. Sure looks like a lot of fun once you can get some of that technique down.

I've been gassing for a Beck Strat for a while, had very near the same once, but without the Sig, a Strat Plus or something like that from the 90's, and would like another.

As fas a songs to emulate, homologate, it certainly was a fantastic choice; “one of the most ambitious, influential, and groundbreaking works in pop music history” and “perhaps one of the most important single tracks in the history of rock music.”
