You'd have to be a madman not to get it, I had to back away quickly.

That flame maple neck, USA made shredder for $500, virtually the price of a used import Hamer of the time period.

Are those active p'ups, or just plastic covered?

The Khaler is the only part I'm not drawn to, but prob works ok, just not as sexy as a Floyd.

Okay I stopped overthinking and pulled the trigger. '86 is my HS graduation year so that's my rationalization.
This will be my first MIA Guild shredder. My MIK Blade is from the the 90's and it's what I taught myself to play lead on.
As far as the weight of it goes, I do a lot of yoga and I know a good chiropractor.
Now to get a matching leather Couch strap!

Price is nice, but it weighs 9.5 lb (4.3 kg)!

Congratulations, that a a cool guitar! Love it in red!

I give credit to anyone who can strap this over their shoulder! I went to check one out a music store near me a few years ago and I almost dropped it I was so unprepared for how heavy it was.

I recently bought a shredder, $200 out the door at the pawn shop and I've never been so happy. This much guitar for that little money, it's a lucky guitar, kismet. Still has fingerboard grunge and the same strings that were on it and it made all my guitars instantly redundant.

I can use it as reference pitch for my other guitars, like having a Timex to know exactly what time it is even though you have a Rolex.

Happiness comes from within, but this definitely helped.

Congrats on a cool guitar! Fun to have a shredder with Guild heritage. I've been keeping my eye out for a Liberator--still waiting for one with right price.

The Hamer Slammer series are pretty good quality Korean builds. I once played a slammer version of the Hamer Cruise bass that was really great quality--one of those coulda-shoulda-woulda-but-dinna scenarios. Then regret. :C(

Interesting to see the attached options sheet show the pickup options for the T200: "1 H. B., 2 single coils".
No reference that single coils are EMG. Also never seen a single HB. I do know of a bridge Stacked Coil humbucker made by DiMarzio for Guild with a plastic cover with Guild printed on the cover. However never seen that on a guitar configuration.

I'm still scratching my head, too. I guess I'll see what shows up. I'm going to scour the web for photos to see if I can find one like it.

I'm looking closely at the PU covers in the ad and I can see a very faint EMG logo on one of the single coils so I'm going the "they're all EMG pickups" route.
