Dunno, but my guess is it is post count and I'll further venture that if you have 100 or more posts then you are a Senior Member. (Sort the members list by post count in descending order and then jump to page 11 which is one place the titles change),

Don't know, guys. Much to explore and learn with the new s/w. Maybe dkl will weigh in on that.

Are you guys also having no way to upload an avatar? Ralf pointed that out earlier...

Can't upload an avatar. Probably similar to how other forums are set up (I can't load an avatar on TGP either). Also, I have to host pics on another site if I want them in my post. Frono says he can upload directly from his computer. So yeah, I'd say there are different settings here depending on member status (?).

Well, I guess since you guys aren't MODERATORS anymore, but rather "Super Moderators" y'all get the fancy avatars. ;)

I think one of the strange things is that my signature block came through just the same as it was on the old board. No supersize or anything.... weird, huh?

Well, you've got a jump on us, Joe. Go ahead and update the "niggles" thread if you have any trouble. I assume that [ img] will work as before.

I was wondering what the difference is between a "moderator" and a "SUPERmoderator"?

What's the qualifier for this designation?
Length of time as a member, number of posts, number of years on the planet, etc.?
Curious Joe
Looks to me like:
<30 posts are "junior members;"
>= 100 posts are "senior member;"
in between are just "members."

I figured I'd be a senior member because I'm a senior...

I'm thinking it is nothing more than Title Creep - think Senior Sanitation Engineer - since I can find no evidence of a mere Moderator.

If senior member is for us old guys (elder statesmen), then Thursday I will become a super senior member (a wicked old passer of gas).
